11.10AT&T Tilt Today Screen Mods
Here’s what I’ve done to get what you see in this video.
- Download HTC Home Plugin. Download the cab to your device and install from the cab by clicking on it.
- Download the Black Today Screen Theme and install.
- Optional: For the SPB Pocket Plus 4.0 tabs at the bottom of my today screen, download and install SPB Pocket Plus 4.0. I recommend changing all the icons from their default from large icons to small with text to minimize the vertical size.
- Tweak it how you like it.
The HTC Home Plug in will work fine with any color theme you want and it skins well to the color, but I went with black since that’s what the HTC Touch is using.

Thanks for the great video! I was thinking about putting the HTC Home Plugin on my Tilt before, now after watching, I’ll be doing it in a minute. I like ‘as much cr*p as I can’ on my screen too.

I tried the download and clicked on the setup icon on the Tilt but it seems to get stuck about 3/4 through the installation. Help?

Wow…downloaded all the plugins and BOOM, this thing works SWEET! HTC Touch style screen, very nice! Definately load up the kaiser tweak as well, free. Everything I need is a finger press away on the Today Screen. Totally able to put any program, menu, icon, etc. in the tab screens. Now I have the ULTIMATE TILT. No other ppc phone can compare!

Love the HTC Home Plugin - but - How do you get the Black Today Screen Scheme to work? I downloaded it ‘Htc_New_Default.tsk’ copied it to the Tilt - but alas No Black. (Does not show up in Settings/Appearance) I hope I’m not the only one to have to ask this, but I would really like it on my Tilt.

Where did you drop the .tsk file? It cannot be on your storage card.

Doug, I dropped it into the ‘HTCHome’ folder in main storage - not the storage card. Is it supposed to go somewhere else?

Place it in the My Documents folder or Windows folder on the main storage not the Storage card. It will now show up in your today screen settings.

I just got a tilt and was wondering how to get that HTC home plugins an how to install them cause i tryed dragin the files onto the device but it won’t work!! can someone please help me out on this step by step??

Can anyone tell me how to put the HTC home plugins on my tilt. I unzipped the files on my computer and put it on it’s own folder then i put in the phone, but it doesn’t seem to work. does anyone know where to put the files?

I have another newbie ??????? I was able to download all of the cool suggested plug-ins, but for some reason my clock still appears as it did when I first turned the phone on. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem so that my clock appears like the one on the HTC Homeplug in download.

OK, i got mine into my documents folder then i clicked on in my tilt to install then it says installation of HTC-Home-Plugin.ca was unsucceful. Just got it today can some1 plz plz help me i want it really bad

If I download this plug-in, will I be able to change the background for it, instead of the black, to a picture of my choice?

Yes you can. Go to Settings/Personal/Today Screen
In appearance, highlight a theme. The browse tab should be able to be tapped at this point. Tap browse, locate the picture you want to use. Make sure to check the “use this picture…..” and hit ok.

This is the best of the best Htc home plugin I have seen everything works>I live in Toronto Canada.I hvae tried different Htc home plugin but they suck.This one work well with Htc home customizer..I had no problems installing. I LOVE MY HTC TILT and thank you.

I just got my Tilt friday and I am very pleased with it. I have downloaded many apps for free and almost effortlessly to get ahold of and have updated my phone numerous times now. I am still looking for stuff that I could use.

how do you make the icons smaller for the thing on top. cuz when i open my phone it like takes up the whole screen
