04.10Don’t Like Windows Mobile? Put Android On Your AT&T Tilt/ HTC TyTN II!
Wow! It is still a little buggy, but yes, it looks as though Android can be ported to our AT&T Tilt/ HTC TyTN II! Check this video out:
The video is terrible and there is no sound, but it does appear that Android is up and running! From this thread at XDA-Developers: (CLICK HERE) Android must be loaded into main memory and does not require you to Flash your device to use it.
A second video has now popped up on XDA from someone who loaded to their TyTN II and got it working with a Cooked ROM from Dutty! Check this out:
This is awesome stuff and I will keep tabs on their progress! Way to go guys over at XDA! You guys ROCK!
So what is Android? From Wiki:
Android is a software platform for mobile devices based on the Linux operating system and developed by Google and the Open Handset Alliance. It allows developers to write managed code in Java that utilizes Google-developed software libraries, but does not support programs developed in native code.
You can check out the whole Wiki on Android by CLICKING HERE.

Just a note, this is very unstable at this point and should not be attempted unless you are TOTALLY Familiar with doing this sort of thing. TiltSite is not responsible for bricking your device if you try it!
